2024 aluminum plate is a typical Al-Cu-Mg aluminum hard alloy; with temper T351, it has fairly reasonable composition, with good comprehensive performance; it is most widely used among hard aluminum products; it has a certain heat resistance characteristics and high strength characteristics even higher than 7075 alloy; it has fairly good shaping property under heat, tempering and new quenching condition and obvious reinforced heat treatment effect; yet it has lower anti-corrosion ability, however, it can get effective protection if wrapped by pure aluminum; it easily cracks while welding, but it can be welded by adopting special process; riveting can be used too.
